Sheri Johnson

“With over 15 years of clinical experience in the field, I am the Founder and Clinic Director at FreeMind Therapy, and a Senior Psychotherapist. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Calgary, and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of the Fraser Valley. I have completed over 450 hours of Rapid Resolution Therapy training with the Institute for Rapid Resolution Therapy.  I also supervise counsellors in training through Yorkville University and the University of Calgary, while supporting a group practice of skilled, master level therapists.

I am most passionate about healing trauma, particularly military trauma and sexual trauma. Other passions are healing insomniaAnxiety, and particularly social anxiety & phobias.

Over the years I have utilized many approaches to counselling. Due to my role as Clinic Director, my caseload is limited to a smaller number of clients, and therefore my primary offering is currently Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT). I also offer therapy for Veterans, under Medavie Blue Cross (funded by Veterans Affairs Canada/VAC).”
